Single Italian Parsley brings bright, clean flavor to a wide range of dishes, offering far more intensity than traditional curled types. This flat-leaf variety grows into lush, leafy plants that perform beautifully in both garden beds and containers. Its strong, full-bodied taste makes it a favorite for pesto, soups, salads, and everyday cooking. Plants mature in about 70–80 days and remain productive when harvested regularly.
We ship to the Continental U.S. and Alaska only. We cannot ship to Hawaii, overseas U.S. military bases, or U.S. territories.

Growing Information
Planting
- Sow seeds directly outdoors or begin them indoors, knowing that parsley germination can be slow and may take several weeks.
- Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep in loose, fertile soil that drains well but retains consistent moisture.
- Choose a location with full sun to partial shade, as plants tolerate either but grow most vigorously with ample light.
- Space plants about 10–12 inches apart to allow their mature 12–18 inch height and 12 inch spread to develop fully.
- Keep the soil evenly moist throughout the early growth stage to support strong root establishment.
- A thin layer of compost worked into the soil before planting provides a healthy foundation for robust foliage.
Maintenance
- Plants typically reach 12–18 inches in height with a spread of about 12 inches, so give them enough room for good airflow.
- Parsley prefers consistently moist soil, so water deeply whenever the top inch begins to dry.
- A light application of balanced fertilizer every few weeks supports steady leaf production.
- Mulching around the base helps regulate soil moisture and reduces weed competition.
- Prompt removal of yellowing or spent stems keeps plants tidy and encourages fresh growth.
Harvest & Storage
- Parsley reaches harvest readiness in 70–80 days, and leaves can be picked as soon as the plant is well established.
- Harvest outer stems first to encourage continuous new growth from the plant’s center.
- Freshly cut sprigs hold best when kept refrigerated in a loose, breathable bag.
- For longer storage, leaves can be dried or frozen to retain much of their flavor.
- Regular harvesting helps maintain plant vigor and prolongs the overall productive life of each plant.
